Lives up to the hype - Vortex Razor HD Gen II 1-6x24mm Rifle Scope

This is my first experience with a Vortex product and subsequently, with Optics Planet as well. I will start with the fact that the customer support was top notch. I had originally ordered online but had some questions so I called and the rep was helpful. Delivery was prompt and packaged well. The Razor HD-Gen II is sturdy and well designed. My intentions for this optic was to live on the top rail of my Scar 17S and paired with my American Defense Delta, It is a perfect fit. I was worried about the clearance of the scope above the rear iron sight but it fits perfect. The glass is crystal clear and the red dot has plenty of brightness options to cover any light condition. In spite of the reviews I read where people were complaining about the weight, I just don't feel that the extra pound is a significant enough issue to discourage anyone from buying one.
