One of the finest scopes ever built!
I purchased this scope in preparation for taking a long-distance shooting course.
It’s intuitive to use, easy to zero, and the glass is perfect (I’m an amateur astronomer and volunteer at a local observatory: I know good glass!). The elevation/windage knobs are crisp-moving and have a satisfying d...

great glass, poor eyebox for price
Glass is superb but the eye-box isn’t forgiving at all. Much easier getting behind a nightforce atacr. This scope should not be priced as high as it is given the eye-box and being imported.
Top notch optic
If you have the cash, would definitely recommend this piece of glass for your next build. the quality of the glass is great, the turrets have a satisfying and easy to track click, and there's plenty of elevation for those who are going beyond 20MOA for mounting and still want a 100yd zero.

vortex razor gen3 6x36
This is an excellent scope. The zero system is awesome,Glass is crystal clear and is of sturdy construction. I love it! probably the best value in its price range from what I have found. One thing I don’t like about the scope is that the turrets have a little wobble to them when unlocked. Honestly I think that’s my only complaint. I haven’t performed a tracking test but I’m sure it’s great.
If you are in the market for a scope in this price range I think you’ll find it’s a great value and is above its class. This scope is heavy. Good for target and prs shooting

Best glass I own
Friends have NightForce and Leupold Mark V scopes and I personally believe the Gen. 3 Razor is every bit as clear and accurate. I have 2 of them and couldn’t be happier. Why spend more?
Pros:
- Clear glass & accurate turrets
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- long range

Great Scope
I’ve been using this scope for a while now, and it has exceeded every expectation. The clarity is the first thing that stands out. Even in low‑light conditions, the glass stays bright and sharp, making it easy to identify details at a distance. The reticle is crisp, intuitive, and doesn’t clutter the sight picture.
The build quality feels solid and dependable. The adjustment turrets track cleanly with audible, consistent clicks, and the zero has held perfectly through regular use. The magnification ring moves smoothly without being loose, and the overall ergonomics make it comfortable to use for extended sessions.
What impressed me most is how well it balances performance and value. It feels like a premium optic without the premium price tag. Whether you’re dialing in for precision or just looking for a reliable scope for general use, this one delivers steady, confidence‑building performance.
A great piece of equipment that I’m genuinely glad I picked up.

Perfect Scope for the price
Went with a Burris first and just didn’t like the turrets
Saw the Vortex come on sale for a much better price so I returned the Burris and got the razor
Couldn’t be happier with my purchase

Gen lll Razor
Deal was just as hot as the scope is. Needed some glass to put on top a Seekin Havak Hit Pro. Fell like this was the correct choice.

hopefuly the best bang for your buck.
I’ve researched to death scopes for long range precision shooting. Back and forth between this scope and the more expensive night force. But this scope at least reads to out perform the Nightforce. Still waiting on my custom model 307 7mm prc before I’ll truly know. But I am very confident I made the right choice.
Pros:
- great warranty
- Best bang for $
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Precision long distance shooting

Excellent glass, but poor shipping...
This scope has amazing glass! I understand that the shipping is free when you spend this much on a scope, but USPS really? The package literally made the trip twice. It made it to the closest regional location and went all the way back to the origin and back again. At the very least Optics Planet could spring for UPS or FedEx when you spend over $3000 for an optic.
Pros:
- Great product
Cons:
- Sub optimal shipping
Would recommend: Yes
