I have a 3x9 40 crossfire, 3x9 50 crossfire 2, and now this 3.5 x10 50 diamondback. They are all clear and bright. The 50mm seems to be better to me than the 40. Not sure why, just seems to bring the image up closer and very clean. I've had great ability to see at dusk with these. For the money, very hard to beat. I set at 100 yards and never move it, So can't really comment on ladder tests but they have stayed put over years. When I retire shortly, I hope to find a longer range and play with my zero and longer range shooting. I'll see how accurate the clicks are. For zeroing, they were very close to the 1/4inch. For hunting to 300 yards,this is all you need. These have very good eye relief so scope bite should be limited. Rifles used, savage 30-06. Knight muzzeloader, Christian arms evoke 7prc.

should have went with a diamondback or viper

vortex crossfire 2 hog hunter with v bright purchased and paired with a Ruger American gen 2 350 legend for my sons first rifle. Great scope easy to sight in collects a lot of light it did fog up on me once after being in a warm truck and then transferring it to a very cold climate. No biggie however I didn’t realize after purchasing that the scope isn’t really designed to be clear much past 100yrds I looked at 3x12x56 and figured 3x12 was plenty for 200yards.That’s my fault, after reviewing the specs it does say it’s a 100yrd scope. Anyhow I found it out the hard way in the field my son had the opportunity to take his first deer at about 170 yards and he couldn’t get it to focus well enough to take the shot. Completely my fault. Great product will be purchasing a viper for his new rifle

I was going to get a diamondback 40mm till I came across OpticsPlanet and they had a steal of a deal on the 50mm so glad I got it. Don’t even bother with crossfire unless you are on super tight budget. Just get the diamondback and don’t look back

Although I've not had it in the field yet after mounting and sighting in I've been very pleased with the scope. Optics are clear, I like the cross hairs, it's lightweight, if I have one complaint it be the cheapest scope cover they could put on it but any easy fix.
