Can't say enough, I just love my Diamondbacks! Incredible value for your money!
I just wish they'd come with bino system instead of the neck strap
Pros: powerful, great optics, water and fog proof, cheap, and unbeliable warranty!
Cons: Don't make them in camo!
Would recommend: Yes

I don't have a lot of experience w/ binoculars, especially the new ones. Pros--no chromatic aberration detected. Good comfortable strap. Focus ring is easy to reach and turn, although a 1/2" further away from the eyepieces would be easier. 1-5/8 turns from 5' to infinity, but less than a 1/4" movement covers from 60 to 400 yds. and a 1/4 turn from 8'to 12'.
Cons--pin cushioning is very evident. Eyecups twist up, but the detents are ineffective, especially the left one. Focus is soft around the edges. Rain guard is too loose to stay on.
Conclusion--I looked at Bushnell's $100 Scout (10x42) and Nikon's $175 Action EX (same) in a store the other day. I couldn't tell any difference in resolution or brightness between those and the $210 Diamondbacks. Alignment and eye strain could be different, but I couldn't check that w/ such a short viewing time. I don't look through them for hours at a time, anyway. I am considering returning the Diamondbacks and getting the Bushnells and saving 110 bucks.
