Sparc, poor workmanship - Vortex SPARC AR 1x22mm 2 MOA Red Dot Sight

Never got the chance to field test, although it was recommended by a trusted friend. Upon receipt it was noted the optical sealant had bubbled into the field of view. It may have caused a secondary issue with a reflection of the red Dot itself. The sealant was at the the 4-6 o'clock range while the arched shadow of the red Dot was at the 10-12 o'clock range. Again at higher intensity of red Dot, there tends to be a blurring of the Dot itself. I did request an exchange, haven't heard on that matter yet. Thanks
