Died within 48 hours of receiving, never even got to use it, vortex will never get my money again - Vortex SPARC Solar 1x31 mm 2 MOA Red Dot Sight

The optic worked as advertised for all of 48 hours before it died(thanks China). The optic is suppose to have 12 brightness settings with 2 being for NV, meaning there are 10 normal modes. After 48 hours that was reduced to 3 visible settings, all of which would dim or dissappear at random. Swapped out the battery for a name brand one and same issue. Took it outside to try the solar panel, same issue. Thought about having Vortex replace it via warranty but this experience has shaken my trust in the company's ability to produce a product I can count on and would rather save my money and buy an Aimpoint or Trijicon at this point and not worry about a chinese made hunk of garbage failing when I need it. My 7 year old cheap garbage Bushnell red dot has proven more reliable and durable than this "optic"
