Most Helpful Negative Review Died within 48 hours of receiving, never even got to use it, Vortex will never get my money again
The optic worked as advertised for all of 48 hours before it died(thanks China). The optic is suppose to have 12 brightness settings with 2 being for NV, meaning there are 10 normal modes. great red dot optic but...

Great product... easily mounted on a CMMG Dissent Br4. Needed an optic that would sit low. Having some issues w/ zeroing the dot lower. Calibrating w a laser and havent been able to adjust the red dot low enough yet. Will keep on trying next time im at the range.

Customer Service is key

Installed on upper with supplied tool using 2 fingers and put up for the night, removed from safe to take to range and noticed the heads of the bolts that hold optic to rail were not there,
(found them in the floor) called vortex and they had hardware replaced in less than a week. I do find it suspect that a Chinese made product for the American market failed so easily. But the vortex folks made it right.

Great Red Dot for the Price

This thing has held up well on a short AR. It is lightweight, durable and has held zero so far after a few hundred rounds. If you are outside a lot with your rifle you will never need a new battery. I always check the barrel end of red dots with night vision to see what signature they give off and this one was very small if any. I do wish there was an option for a flash kill device during the daytime to avoid glare reflection.

vortex sparc solar and 6x mag

Red dot is great. I can see it perfectly round with no cracks . The magnification is great and the wye relief is amazeing. I got the 6 x and Im truly impressed. My only complaint is they changed the expected date twice and when I called I told them it has been sitting in Illinois for 6 days according to tracking but they had no information. Thats my only complaint. If you are gonna change the date of delivery there needs to be some communication. But the quality on the optic is great.

very poor quality

Looked horrible through red dot almost like it had cracks inside and red light follwed them. way distracting. Plus, a bunch of red light over shadowing if tried moing eye around to get past red light reflection wouldn't recommend
