Worth the price - Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x24mm Rifle Scope, 30mm Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

First - the coating color of this scope is not FDE and I’m not sure why its listed as such. Its burnt bronze which still has a nice look to it.

This is my second scope of this model, my first one was the first generation in black. The only noticeable difference with this one is the throw lever is thread in vs clamp on. I actually prefer the older style and worry if the thread in lever would hold up as well to abuse. The illuminated reticle is a nice touch but even without I really like the etched reticle design. Works well on my 300BO and 350Legend. IMO if your looking for a 50-400yd scope this one works great and is one of the top in class at this price. I rated it four stars only because I liked the first gen better
