Will not fit scope as informed by sales order representative - Vortex Switchview Throw Lever for Viper PST and Viper HS Rifle Scopes

I was told by sales representative that this SV-2 switchview throw lever would fit my Vortex Viper 6x24x50 PST gen II scope. It is too small. I contacted Vortex customer services and they informed me that the SV-5 is the correct one that will fit my scope. I just got around to trying to install it yesterday and I had ordered it back in November last year, drought OpticsPlanet would exchange it by now.
BY the way, its package and the literature on the listing states that it will fit the "Viper PST". WILL NOT FIT MINE.
