Most Helpful Negative Review Great Product, Makes adjustment during cold weather easy, high price though
This product does exactly what is supposed to. Installation is easy and takes less than 10 minutes. Makes power adjustments very easy when you have your gloves on, and you can tell by feel where you are at once you get used to it. Much needed for Razor HD gen2 1-6x

I found it very annoying how the Vortex Razor HD 1-6x did not come with this quick throw lever by default, and even more annoyed at the price for this small lever. But now that I have it I really don’t care because it is awesome. I suggest just biting the bullet here.

Vortex Switchview Throw Lever for Viper PST and Viper HS Riflescopes

Solid construction. Makes adjusting the magnification fast and easy with 1 finger. I don't need to lift my head from the scope when making adjustments. Super easy to install. A little pricey for a small piece of aluminum but it's worth it.

This Vortex Switchview Throw Lever works great on my Vortex Razor Gen II-E 1-6x24 HD Riflescope. It makes adjusting the magnification much easier. Very easy to install. Wish it was included as a standard item on their optics.

Broke after light use

I got this about 2 years ago and have only taken this rifle out to the range a handful of times. Was looking over my rifle today and noticed the lever was loose. Upon further inspection I found a crack in the ring. I would not recommend this product.

Must have for low power variable optics

Works great on Vortex Razor Gen 2 E 1-6!! Also have one on a Vortex Razor Gen 2 4.5-27, and it makes adjustment much easier and faster. Only wish Vortex would include this with their scopes..............

Perfect fit

Fit my Viper PST 5-25 x 50 perfectly. Makes adjustments,even with heavy gloves, simple and quick.I have put them on all three of my Vortex scopes. Especially helpful for my two early teenage kids that I take hunting every year.

Does the Job!

First I’ll say fast shipping among all this pandemic (thank you) . But this throw lever is not up to the vortex name. On their website it clearly says that this will fit the vortex strike eagle 1x8 and it does but leave a less then desirable 1/8inch gap at the screw connection. I was just expecting more precision from vortex seeing that they make the scope why not a perfectly fitting throw lever. I’m just glad I got this from OpticsPlanet and didn’t pay the price they are asking on the vortex site. I’m new to OpticsPlanet but this site is awesome will be a continuing customer.

Vortex Switch Lever

I recently purchased a Vortex Switchview Throw Lever which greatly increased my ability to adjust magnification on my Viper scope. This has been a beneficial purchase as usual from Optic Planet. I first purchased from Optic Planet a Vortex Viper HS LR 6-24 x 50 scope which I am thrilled to own along with a Vortex cantilever quick release scope mount. Life is good.

Vortex switchview

My daughter got this throwlever for Christmas and I installed it on my Vortex 1-8X24. Much better for accusation settings. Now the kids wants to go out on the range for some action. The installation process is so easy as well.
Pros:
  • What a difference with it on.
Cons:
  • Not liking the gap "between the two parts at the screw connection."
