Simple solid scope.
Set it in a short riser with its included rings. Fits great on a 223 wylde bolt rifle. Easy to sight in with the bore and irons for reference.
Great scope for the price
I have it mounted on my Savage Axis II and my only issue has been the scope rings it comes with. They don’t fit well on my Axis II and the first set had trouble tightening. I called Vortex and they sent me out new rings! I noticed the scope is a little bigger and heavier than a Crossfire II or Diamondback, but overall it’s a great value for the price. I’ve had more issues with my Diamondback than this scope even though it’s over double the price.

Good deal and value
Eye relief is a little short. But value is good. Included rings are good quality
Pros:
- value
Cons:
- Eye reloef
Best Used for:
- Small caliber (.22-.223)

Unusable scope
With only 17mm of eye relief, this scope is of no value to me. Dialing to full power, the scope is useless. Spend a few more dollars and get a Crossfire.
Pros:
- good price
Cons:
- Can't see nothing through it.
Best Used for:
- scrap metal

Nice scope, great price.
I mounted this scope on my Ruger M77/22, but had to buy taller ring mounts because the power adjusting ring is quite large and contacts the top of the receiver with the standard height rings. Being that my rifle is a Ruger product the supplied Vortex rings are unusable, but would probably work well when used in conjunction with a Weaver type mount or a rail system. Otherwise, I am happy with this purchase as the glass is bright and clear, holds zero and the reticle is easy to use. I would recommend this scope to anyone in the market for a good inexpensive scope with a lifetime warranty.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Target shooting, hunting

vortex optics
I own multiple vortex optics from rifle scopes to binoculars and have purchased most from optics planet. Would recommend optics planet and vortex optics to anyone for the price and quality you can’t beat this combo.

incredible value i dont know how they do it.
Just got it for my FIL.
It will be going on a 22.
BEST warranty in the world.
Has not been sighted in yet. Good quality and good glass especially for the price. Good reticle.
The rings are great quality and sturdy.
I will most likely buy again if they haven’t all sold out.

Squirrels!
When I lived in the Pacific Northwest, squirrels were so big and plentiful that I never went to bed hungry. But those bothersome hippies kept trampling through my living room with their soccer balls and soy lattes, so I had to move off to Alabama where nobody would look for me. And while I've found a nice reprieve from the communism and Patterson-Gimlin wannabes while hiding out in the great state of Alabama, the squirrels are a lot faster down here. And if I'm honest, my old eyes just ain't what they used to be on iron sights. So I ordered this Vortex Triumph scope when it was on sale and, fellas, let me tell you something.
I've had great scopes, I've had cheap scopes, but I've never had what I would call a truly great, inexpensive scope. To my pleasant surprise, this scope not only has that fantastic Vortex build quality, but the included mounting rings are outstanding quality too. Sure, it's probably not the scope you need for setting records on elk shots with a rifle that costs more than a mortgage payment, but for a rimfire? This thing is the ticket. And yeah, it's a second-focal-plane scope, which is one of the reasons it's so inexpensive. But at 3-9 magnification, be honest... we're all just dialing it to 9 and leaving it there for all of eternity, which is where that second focal plane is designed to work best anyway. Don't let the 40mm size spook you either. That's plenty big enough for 100-150 yards and carries with it a pretty low bore-to-sight distance, so your s...
