Overrated for what it is
So much praise for this scope in the reviews, but I was unimpressed. The scope is ok if you can get it under $250. Eye relief is not great for a low power scope. Very bulky and heavy design. Why? great scope
Very clear and easy to see. 422$ said and done after getting the vortex sport cantilever mounts. Definitely glad I got this over the Sig msr 1-6. I don’t use illumination in daytime but the highest setting is very clear for those that care. The 1x is a lot better than other people have said about this model easy to shoot with both eyes open. Definitely love it use some blue loctite then you’re set��

Clear glass and looks sharp, it came with everything it was suppose too, and the service was on point

Great value
After lots of research I settled on this optic. For the cost this is a very difficult scope to beat, I was impressed with the quality of the optic and the accessories that were included. The glass is very clear, and I like how the reticle isnt too busy. I have not shot the rifle much yet, but with my previous experience with Vortex this will last a long time.

Great value.
I put this LPVO on an AR-10 platform.(8.6 BO). It is very functional and meets the needs of my requirements ( see target/ hit target )This is the 4th Vortex I have and can’t finds any issues. The warranty is above reproach, even though I haven’t had to use it. I have a few friends that have “tested” their scopes above and beyond. Highly recommend and will keep purchasing until I have a reason not to.

Great entry level scope
Great optic for the price and it allows me to reach out a bit further.

Great scope for Ar use
Priced fairly, good glass, very useful reticle… this is my 2nd of this model Vortex. First one has been on two AR’s so far for a total of over 8,000 rounds and still going strong. 6x is fine for me and doesn’t compromise eye relief. Highly recommend for LPVO use on AR.

Great Scope
I have a follow up review for the venom scope. I was having a hard time sighting in with cheap ammo. A friend suggested sighting in with M855 ammo and the groupings were consistent. Now I can hit bullseye at 100 yards. I love the scope and will buy another vortex venom scope for my next rifle.
