Most Helpful Negative Review Overrated for what it is
So much praise for this scope in the reviews, but I was unimpressed. The scope is ok if you can get it under $250. Eye relief is not great for a low power scope. Very bulky and heavy design. Why? better than i expected

the build quality IMO is outstanding for it's price ! luv the big turrets and they are clicky but with a little play/slop but not terrible at all . glass looks better than any other scope at a sililar price i've looked through . the reticle is a bit busy for my use but it's not terrible and i really like how the big pointed reticle guides makes it so easy to get centered in the scope . ilumination is fine IMO and i appreciate the off position between each level change . C-DOES did influence my decision and i would absolutely buy this again .

Tried the MSR Tango......

but found the Venom Superior even with out an included mount.
The eye box and window is far superior. Clear glass a great reticle make this a better choice.
I also prefer a 1.93" center mount hight so I was able to buy a quality Midwest Industries Cant. Mount or only a bit more.
Both were availible at the best price from Optics Planet!

Tried the Sig Tango bit....

This one is better. And $100 bucks less. Did need a mount but got a better one than the Sig comes with and had my choice of hight. I prefer 1.93 inch over rail.

great scope

Very clear and easy to see. 422$ said and done after getting the vortex sport cantilever mounts. Definitely glad I got this over the Sig msr 1-6. I don’t use illumination in daytime but the highest setting is very clear for those that care. The 1x is a lot better than other people have said about this model easy to shoot with both eyes open. Definitely love it use some blue loctite then you’re set��

Great value

After lots of research I settled on this optic. For the cost this is a very difficult scope to beat, I was impressed with the quality of the optic and the accessories that were included. The glass is very clear, and I like how the reticle isnt too busy. I have not shot the rifle much yet, but with my previous experience with Vortex this will last a long time.
