Great for the price!
I used this on a Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor to qualify to use a long distance range at a local gun club. I walked out to 900 yards with a ballistic calculator for targets at 307, 388, 431, 498, 580, 653, 681,763, 812, and 900 yards. The scope tracked great, so much so I hit a clay bird sitting on a berm at 900 yards. If you're looking for a low-cost, high value optic you won't be disappointed.

Venom Surprise
I purchased this scope with limited expectations. First off the price is what I would consider pretty cheap for an optic, $500. I was immediately happy with the clarity of the glass and the tactile feel of the scope turrets. The scope was exceptionally easy to site in. I shot 3 shots at 100 yards, made adjustments and the scope was dead on. I shot MOA or better from then on. The reticle also has easy to use hash marks that can be used for MOA distance hold over shots if you would rather not make dope adjustments. I really like this scope and I’m pretty sure most buyers will like it also. I have shot with a Trijicon Mil Dot scope for 20 years and didn’t think or like anything better now I may have a new favorite.

Excellent value high magnification scope
Even using what must be cheaper parts and glass, this thing shines. I have seen worse scopes for a lot higher prices. On a sale price, this is an incredible value. A little bit of chromatic aberration at the furthest magnification, but backing it off a bit seems to clear it up. Excellent value scope, and with a lifetime warranty from Vortex, you can't beat it.

Venom Vortex Scope
I have this scope on multiple rifles - Ruger .22 Creedmore, Ruger 6.5 Creedmore, along with some others. Easy to use. The scope along with the caliber of the rifle and ammunition, you can hit a 750 yard target multiple times with accurate grouping.

Mounted on a .223 bolt action trainer. It far exceeds the rifles capabilities, but does a great job out to 400yds.
