The first Venom that I received would turn off on its own after a few shots from a .22 lr hand gun. I contacted Vortex and they had me send it back with a prepaid sticker. The replacement that I received 7 days after I sent the defective Venom to Vortex seems to work great, put 100 rounds through it last night. I like the size of the dot and how clear it is. The windage and elevation adjustments are accurate and easy to adjust.
