Had purchased a Viper 20X60X85 which was TOO much for Texas Brush country and big and heavy enough to discourage putting it in a hunting pack.

This 14X45X65 is everything I was looking for to qualify bucks in my 250yd to 100 yd typical kill zone.

Very well made and typical Vortex quality
Pros:
  • Razor sharp & well made
Cons:
  • tri- pod mount forward of balance point
Best Used for:
  • hunting & birdwatching
