Disappointed - Vortex Viper HD 20-60x85mm Spotting Scope

Given the price and size of this scope, I expected much more clarity and resolution. I was unable to see bullet splatter at 700 yards, and it wasn’t any better than my 30 year old Bushnell. I could barely see 22 holes at 200 yards. It is heavy and the focus ring jiggles the scope. Although there is a rubber sleeve, there is no case or carry strap. I am returning it and will try something else. I have four Vortex rifle scopes and they are all excellent, so I was very surprised at the poor performance of this item.
