Vortex Viper HD 10x43
Just an awesome pair of Binos at this price point! Great VIP Wsrranty as well with Vortex as i lost the Tripod Mount Cover in the woods on the third time out and they sent me not one but two replacement covers that arrive two days later, no charge. Highly recommend to anyone.

really amazing bino’s
These Vortex binos are really amazing! Super clear, very sturdy, with lots of features. I paired it with the vortex tripod and Vortex Sport bino adapter. There are cheaper ones, but if you can get these, you don’t need to upgrade, I highly recommend.

Great except for the focus wheel
These binoculars are quality and a great bang for the buck. They're replacing a Razor HD that's MIA, and I don't notice a big difference in optical quality between the two (altho I obviously can't do a side-by-side comparison).
I like that the Viper has complete rubber armor coverage. The Razor has more exposed metal, which is unpleasant to touch in cool weather.
My one beef with the Viper is that my focus wheel is STIFF. I hope it will loosen over time, but it's stiffer than any other new binocular I've tried. It's annoying enough that I'm taking off a star.

I love the Vortex Viper HD 10x42 Binoculars I received from my children. I can’t wait to use them on my Alaska cruise my wife and I are taking in two months. The ocular lens cover was broken, I hope I can get a replacement before my trip.

Great binoculars
Replaced a pair of Nikon binoculars with these Vortex HD. Tried out the Leopoldo, which is another good brand but these optics were way more clear than the comparable Leupolds. Great for the value and Optics Planet has great prices.

Vortex 10x48 bino
The warranty is worth it alone. The vision is good for whitetail hunting. If you were going to glass out west I would get something more powerful.. these fit in my current bino harness
