Upgraded from my Diamondback 8x42 to this beauty since I wanted a little more magnification and bought a Recce Pro Monocular for lightweight field use.
So now if I'm hauling a full size pack then these come along for the ride. I will likely get a bino harness for them soon.
Really awesome value, clarity is great and weight is not as bad as you would expect.
Like every other vortex product I own, it is very well made and it is an easy investment knowing their VIP warranty has you covered for any scenario.
Mostly take these with me hiking or out on the boat, nearly everyone who tries them comments on the quality or asks how expensive they were.
I really enjoyed the Diamondbacks but now i am Very happy with the choice to upgrade
