Bino Sweet Spot
Upgraded from my Diamondback 8x42 to this beauty since I wanted a little more magnification and bought a Recce Pro Monocular for lightweight field use.
So now if I'm hauling a full size pack then these come along for the ride. I will likely get a bino harness for them soon.
Really awesome value, clarity is great and weight is not as bad as you would expect.
Like every other vortex product I own, it is very well made and it is an easy investment knowing their VIP warranty has you covered for any scenario.
Mostly take these with me hiking or out on the boat, nearly everyone who tries them comments on the quality or asks how expensive they were.
I really enjoyed the Diamondbacks but now i am Very happy with the choice to upgrade

Vortex Viper Binoculars
Needed a little more power to see out a little farther than my 10 x 42 s.
these 12 x 50s are super clear and fairly compact for being 50mm.
I thought they where a little pricy but probably worth it in the long run.
Cant beat the vortex warranty.

I bought both viper 10x50s and 12x50s.
The 10x50s were just excellent in every aspect. When I grabbed the box with the 12x50s I noticed that the box was not sealed.
I pulled out the 12x50s and there were no ocular eye covers. The coating near the ocular lens was ripped and pealing off.

Awesome Binoculars!!!
Very lightweight, crystal clear & great lowlight viewing binos!!! Awesome price & warranty too!!! Vortex stands by their products & care about keeping their customers happy!!! Very good product for the reasonable price!!! Can't wait to take them on my next western hunt! After lugging around my old pair of heavy & big higher power binoculars for the last 10-15 years, these will be a nice change to be carrying on my hunting adventures!!

viper binoculars
I bought these Viper HD 12x50 binoculars for general outdoor viewing. They work great. Easy to handle, good looks, light weight, easy to use focusing and at a descent price. I had a set of Zeiss binoculars that were stolen and I like thee just as much as I did the Zeiss set.

Vortex binoculars!
Was hesitant to purchase these binoculars but sure glad I did! Very well constructed and very small and light weight compared to the competitors 12x50 binoculars! Ultra clear and are great in low light! I highly recommend trying these!

Vortex viper hd
Good quality optics and fast shipping. It has a really clear and colorful picture and wide angle of view. The only downside is if your glassing at distances you almost need a tripod to get rid of shake.

Vortex 12x50 Viper HD
Great glass, just enough magnification to see far, but not so much that you lose FOV. Weight is good and the rubberized coating feels good in your hands. I wish it came with a binocular harness, instead of just the neck sling.

Vortex Viper HD 12 x 50 binoculars
great quality,very clear,great value, easy to focus. these binos are so comfortable during short and long periods of glassing. my eyes really relax behind these. Every bit as good as Binoculars that cost three times as much.

Vortex viper 12x50
I have not had a chance to hunt with them yet but they are in the same league as my other European made binoculars I have took them out in low light conditions side by side and so far I cant tell much difference from the S brand very good glass sharp and clear these binocs are not to big to pack and are powerful enough to long range glass in mountain country For the money they are hard to beat I would highly recommend these to any one going out west to hunt

Awesome Binoculars!!!
Love these optics, they're the best i own so far.
I use them here in the high desert and can see everything so clearly.
Everything just jumps out at you thanks to the HD glass, not too heavy and not bulky at all.
And what really sold me was the no questions asked lifetime warranty.

Vortex viper 12x50
This is by far and away the best optics I have ever owned these binoculars are terrific quality and could cost so much more , but with the best warranty in the business , you don't need to. They compare to glass that cost 3 times more do the smart thing and buy vortex you won't be sorry.
