I recently bought my 2nd one of these Viper HD 2-10x42 scopes. I've been using the first one for about a year. I bought the second one because I really like the eye relief, image quality, and the magnification range of my first one. These scopes compare very well with my more expensive scopes, and at this price level I think they are a great value.
Pros:
- value

- eye relief
- magnification range
Cons:
- no "shake to wake" on-switch for lighted reticle
Best Used for:
- Hunting an target shooting
