Old Man Winter's Review of Vortex Viper HD 3000 7x25mm Laser Rangefinder

Excellent piece of equipment. Compact and easy to store or carry. Very clear glass / lens. Display is bright and clear but the mode descriptions are a little wonky and hard to decipher. Included carrying case is nice and looks cool.
Pros:
  • Well made. Clear glass / lens. Compact.
Cons:
  • Mode display is bright and clear but the wording is hard to decipher. The battery compartment cap is hard to replace / thread and does not sit flush with the body.
Best Used for:
  • Target shooting, hunting, archery.
