Great product, great price!
Works as intended. Accurate. Good in all lighting conditions. Good amount of features but not over welming and it's easy to use. Optics planet had a sale that made it $70 less expensive than anywhere else online or in store. It comfortable, durable, light weight and a very useful tool in the field. If you're looking for a solid rangefinder this is it.

Viper HD 3000 Range Finder
Excellent piece of equipment. Compact and easy to store or carry. Very clear glass / lens. Display is bright and clear but the mode descriptions are a little wonky and hard to decipher. Included carrying case is nice and looks cool.
Pros:
- Well made. Clear glass / lens. Compact.
Cons:
- Mode display is bright and clear but the wording is hard to decipher. The battery compartment cap is hard to replace / thread and does not sit flush with the body.
Best Used for:
- Target shooting, hunting, archery.
Would recommend: Yes
Range finder well worth it.
I wasn't sure about it before I purchased it,but when I got it and checked out the features I was very happy with it.You can take it out of the box and breeze thru the manual very quickly. It took no time, to speak of,to set up the configurations. I tested it ut on a fairly sunny day and didn't have a problem. I would recommend this one for affordabilty and reliability.
Pros:
- accuracy
Cons:
- None
Would recommend: Yes
Great product Amazing Company
Love Vortex as a company. They stand by their products 100%. Had a brand new viper scope that was dropped on the pavement while riding a side by side. This product was 1 week old and not even mounted yet. They covered it under warranty no questions asked with a great attitude. I now own 3 strike eagles, viper scope , viper Binos and this new viper 3000 RF. I upgraded from my leupold 1500 and the diff is a game changer from the speed, glass and materials. This will be the only rangefinder you will need for the rest of your life. Check out vortex nation podcast its great. The podcast will help you decide on which product you need way more then this review.

Best Rangefinder I have had.
As the title says, this is the best range finder that I have had. I use them mainly for bow hunting but the past two hunting seasons I have gotten into long range hunts. This range finder did not disappoint. Easy to use and helps with seeing in low light conditions. Light weight and attaches to my chest very nice, almost not noticeable.
Pros:
- easy to use
- Very light weight
- Better than the eye in low light
Cons:
- None
Would recommend: Yes

R. Gary Reynolds
Confident ranging out to about half the advertised model number. Most people don't realize you have to buy over kill based on model number advertisement for accuracy. Missing Illuminated lettering segments difficult to interpret at first. Takes getting used to. Mounting to tripod for long range is a plus.
