Vortex 10x50 Tactical Binos
Great bios. Good light-gathering capability. Excellent clarity. The mil-radian ranging reticle and ranging silhouettes work quite well, and do not distract from direct center-of-visual field viewing. The separate focus rings for diopter and reticle, work very well. Center focus wheel allows rapid/fine focus. Ruggedly constructed with excellent rubber eyecups.
With 50 mm objectives and a roof prism to match, comes weight - these are not meant to ride in your pocket or inside your shirt for quick access/viewing. Where work best when you are set up in a bone-on-bone support position - e....

Great setup clear glass
Really like the light blocking eye piece rubber, glass quality is same as viper hd but half the price. Ranging isn’t super easy but doable if you have time, especially hunting in the west.

Awesome binoculars!
These have a built in range finder that is etched into the lense. No batteries and no laser that can give your position away if you lase something that can detect lasers.

First bino and it slaps
Never had a binocular before or tried other ones at the store so take this with a grain of salt but love this thing, surprised to notice this was made in Japan. excellent value at 300$. I own a viper hd scope and this is definitely higher quality glass.

Excellent glass
Ok, the Blazin' Deal lured me in. Wow! What a set of binos these are. Still adjusting on the use of the built in range system. Can't say enough about Vortex's HD glass quality.
Pros:
- Glass Quality
- Light weight for size
- Ease of focus
Cons:
- Getting used to the built in range system
Best Used for:
- Longer distance glassing
Would recommend: Yes
Good glass for the range
Great for the range and estimating distance. These make a great backup for a LRF, but don’t replace them by any means. The glass is good and clear edge to edge, but the reticle can get washed out in darker backgrounds. Overall very happy with the purchase and would recommend it.

great binoculars
The view is very clear. The eye cups block out all side light. Feel great in my hands. Highly recommend them.

Vortex Ranger 10x50
I purchased the Vortex Ranger 10x50, it has very clear optics and the range finder works great. I am still in the first stages of getting use to the binoculars, and mounted it on my carbon fiber tripod and everything works great and works as advertised. It is well worth the sale price I purchased it for and would say to everyone it is well worth the money so far.
Pros:
- excellent optics
Cons:
- none so far
Best Used for:
- hunting and target practice
Would recommend: Yes
Excellent binoculars for the price.
Performance is on par with other optics in the $300-400 price range. Not sure why Vortex originally priced it as +$700.
Excellent light transfer, good range of adjustability, and great clarity.
Ranging reticle is in the left tube. For my specific purposes, I would rather the reticle be in the right tube.
Vortex designed the reticle to be off center and over the non-dominant eye so it interferes less with the overall picture. However it does make it somewhat difficult to focus on the reticle. If you want a pair of binoculars that are primarily for observation and occasionally use the reticle, this is a excellent option. If you are looking for performance with the reticle, for $700 there are better options. However, at the current price of ~$300 its hard to beat.

Vortex 19x50 Tactical Binos
Great set of binos. Very clear with excellent light-gathering capacity. Ruggedly constructed and backed by a great guaranty (which will probably never have to be used) - built for a lifetime (and then some) of hard use. The range-finding recticle is easy to use, accurate and yet remains unobtrusive when not in direct use.
Pros:
- Performance is excellent, all-around.
Cons:
- The plastic case could be more substantial.
Best Used for:
- Best used while viewing using a bone-on-bone set-up where you are not
- Best used while viewing utilizing a bone-on-bone set-up as that proves least tiring and most stable, for scanning, identifying and ranging.
