Vortex Viper HS 6-24X50
In my opinion the Optics quality/clarity is not as good as the Vortex HS 6-20X50. I have both scopes.
There is a curious red dot between 12 and 24X on the scope adjustment ring. It's not mentioned in the manual so I called Vortex Tech support. They said it's the power setting that the BDC is most accurate, "around 18X". I can live with that since it's Second Focal Plane scope. Overall, I'm pleased with the product but I should of kicked in more $$$ and bought a First Focal Plane Scope.

Nice scope for $400
Haven’t shot an animal with it yet! Awesome clarity and tracking was spot on! Not sure about BDC reticle yet! I sighted my Tika super light 270 win using the middle crosshairs 1 1/2” high at 100 yds! Out of leadsled! Had sub 1” 4 shot group going! 5th shot got away from me ! Still shot 1 3/8” group! I do like the higher magnification for shooting 200 + yds!

Super buy for the money!���
I own Zeiss, leupold, Swars, Nikon, and weaver! Some I paid over $1200 for! This Viper was on sale for $379! Plus tax. Great glass and precision so far! Only took 6 shots and my Tika super light 270 win was grouping 1 1/4” at 100yds! Not crazy about the BDC reticle yet! But I will experiment with it later! Power selector is a little stiff best scope for $400 bucks ever! Try one and see for urself! I don’t buy junk�

Vortex viper hs 6x24x50
Really good scope. Can't beat it for the price. Have no problem in clarity out past 500 yards. Very happy with the outcome and quality. You get the same viper glass as in the higher end pst, so clarity is the same. Just a perfect all around hunting scope. After the first purchase bought another one in the 4x16. Just as happy with that scope.

Great precision optic
This is, hands down, the best scope I have ever owned! It replaced a much less expensive model with all of the same features (magnification, side focus, etc.) It really is true that you get what you pay for. The quality of the Vortex is worlds apart from it's predecessor. Clarity, light transmission, stability are all far superior.

I have purchased two of these Vortex Viper HS 6x24x50 rifle scopes and compete with both. One is mounted on a Ruger 77 target ,223 and the other is going on a Ruger precision rifle in 6.5 Creedmore. I own scopes from Burris, Leopold, Nikon and even Zeiss. Those two Vortex scopes give up nothing to any of these other optics. I plan to buy a third shortly.

Viper HS 6-24x50
I mounted this on my 6.5 Creedmoor bore sighted it and took it to the range.
the optics on this scope are very clear and the "fast Focus" eyepiece is great for adjusting different powers.
love the hash marks for yardage out to 600yds.

Vortex Viper HS 6-24x50mm
This is the best brand scope for the money on the market today. They put all the frills on their medium range price scopes. They have very exceptional glass that's clear in even the lowest light situations. Aa a long range predator hunter it is the best scope money could buy hands down. I highly recommend this product.

great optics best purchase
This product has lots of wonderful features like side parallax with good clarity and brightness. I also like the dead-hold BDC reticle. Product was delivered on time as promised. Highly recommend this.

Vortex Optics / Optics Planet Customer Service
A few weeks ago I placed an order through Optics Planet for a Vortex riflescope and bubble level. After placing this order I was notified that the specific scope I ordered was not going to be available till December. I called and spoke with a customer service rep to cancel the order because I needed the scope sooner, as I was setting up a new hunting rifle for a mule deer hunt in late October and a bull elk hunt in late November. The service rep understood my disappointment and ended up sending me a different (more expensive ) Vortex scope for the same price. I received these items a few days later and now have everything I need for these hunts. Scope and level are amazing and I will not order items from any other site. Optics Planet is my and my hunting buddies go to site from now on! Thanks again !

Worth the savings
I saved up and got this scope for my 7mag. I haven't had time to mount and shoot it yet but the scope is fantastic. The scope is bright and crisp even in low light, I am beyond ready for deer season!!!
