A really great scope for younger eyes - Vortex Viper HS LR 6-24x50mm 30mm Tube First Focal Plane Rifle Scope

There is nothing wrong with this scope, the issue is my 60 year old eyes. When the scope is at 6x and shooting at a black Shoot & See target, finding the crosshairs was difficult. Not sure if I should switch to a lit reticle or not. When I powered up to 10x the reticle was easier to find. That said the controls are crisp and settings are repeatable. Magnification changes are smooth and the optics are very clear.
