Best 1-6x lpvo for the price - Vortex Viper PST Gen II 1-6x24mm 30mm Tube Second Focal Plane Rifle Scope

Basically, I love this optic as it solves all the issues I had going in for my first AR build. I wanted something that I could use that would work extremely well for close range and push out to 300-400+ easily. The way the reticle is set up (I got the MRAD version) with an etched and daylight bright dot is perfect. For $499 when I got it this was literally unbeatable. The glass clarity is great and while it isn't super smooth to change magnification it's smooth enough. It's built extremely tough and while I havent personally drop tested it I've seen youtube reviews that show it's more than capable. Basically this optic is a true mid power LPVO that does really well in close range with the ability to push out farther. It's more efficient than trying to run a red dot+magnifier and cheaper at that. Don't waste time and money trying to find some super niche setup, get a Viper PST GEN II and a good mounting solution to start.
