I have been using the Vortex HST 6-24 SFP for target shooting to 1000 yards and it is a great piece of gear. With that being said this new PST Gen. II 5-25 x 50 SFP scope is a far superior optics. It is mechanically rock solid, hard zero stop with glass quality good enough that I do not see any usable advantage gained with the $2K plus scopes for what I do. Which is casual long range (up to 1500 yard) target shooting and mid range (500 yard) hunting. Best scope value on the market for above "period".
