The flip mount worked just fine for the first 200 rounds. Maybe it was user error but after about the first 100 rounds the mount got loose and fell off of my rifle mid magazine. Maybe I didn't fasten it tight enough but in the future I would use a wrench to really tighten it onto the rail. Thats the only reason I didn't give this 5 stars
