Tried using this in conjunction with the Vortex sparc II. Bad eye relief and ended up moving to the Vortex pst 1-4 and sending this back. Better eye relief & usability. Working well I’m happy. Using it with a vortex red dot on an AR nine juggernaut and so far it’s been working well easy to install easy to drop and easy to raise up.

  • Not the easiest mechanism to drop the zoom quickly

Nice and solid addition to your vortex crossfire.

Obviously designed to be compatible little magnifier, the flip is nice because it leaves enough clearance to use the red dot and the iron sights underneath, and it is in the perfect spot to use it as a sighting scope with your other eye if your vision is as bad as mine. The only thing I don't like is that it did not come with a lens cover like the Crossfire did.

vortex vmx 3 magnifier

Product as described, paired magnifier with a Vortex Spark II RedDot. Well built with clear and sharp image side to side. Eye box is small and pairs well with the Red dot, sufficient magnifying for close in and to distance of 200meters. Comes with a solid flip mount, the combined unit does have some heft and adds a little bit of weight to your setup. Overall, pleased with performance and operation of product.
Pros:
  • solid construction, clear and crisp glass with edge to edge clarity. enough powe for medium range engagement. pairs well with Red Dot.
Cons:
  • a little heavy, small eyebox making it harder to acquire target.
  • adjustable focus and magnifier works well.

Works as described, can be flipped to either side depending on how you mount it. If you are looking for a 3x Magnifier this one does the job, currently have this matched with a Sig red dot and lines up perfectly. I would highly suggest this Magnifier.
