Great compliment to my Aimpoint Patrol red dot. The spacer plate is required. The magnification definitely makes that 100 yard shot achievable. Unfortunately I had to remove my back up sites to allow a mounting position that would support the short eye relief. Another 1-1.5 inches of eye relief would make this a 5 star rating, especially at this price point.
