Most Helpful Positive Review Vulture Binoculars
The Vulture seems to be the least popular of the Vortex line of binoculars. The 56mm lens does make them a little heavy but the amazing light gathering ability more than makes up for it. The generous eye relief was welcome for those of us who wear glasses. Save your neck and get a harness or a binocular case for carrying them in the field. Beware that most "large" binocular case are too small for these giant 56mm lenses. I went with the Horn Hunter brand binocular case in large size and they fit. Pros: Clear, Great light gathering, generous eye relief Cons: Heavy

Pastor who enjoys deer hunting

by Preacher, from AR, United States Written on March 10, 2016
Depending on how serious you are about getting the big buck these binos are super for low lighting dusk/dawn hunting. I had originally purchased nikon monarchs 10 x40 mm which had great clarity and had worked well for me until I discovered these through a hunting buddy. With the larger objective lens they do a better job at gathering light. The down side is they are big, bulky and heavy. But if you are a serious hunter who cares about these things.
Best Used for:
  • dusk/dawn hunting
