This replaced a much-loved German-made triple timer that I had for several years which final stopped working. I tried several less expensive triple timer models -- none of which came even close to our old one. Then I saw this VWR model advertised. The fact that it retains the time settings in memory is key (I always keep a 5-mintue and a 10-minute setting handy for many cooking chores). The quality, accuracy, and ease of use are all excellent.
Pros: 3 independent tiems with memory
