I bought these to use while deer hunting. I can hear better with them on and they keep my ears warm. I have fired my rifle several times with them on and they did great blocking the sound of the shot. They are comfortable to wear and the ear cups seal well. The only shortfall is when hunting i can hear others shoot, but have a hard time determining which direction the shot came from.
