Walther Arms P22 Long Rifle Barrel Set, Stainless Steel, WU-BPI-512506

OpticsPlanet had lowest price for the P22 5 inch barrel. Used Utube videos for directions for replacement. Had to heat the barrel nut to remove short barrel (P22 CA version). Overall pretty easy to replace. No problems so far.

For P22Q not P22.

Quality was excellent. Blemish free, additional front post installed and included all tools necessary for installation. BE WARNED OF COMPATIBILITY ISSUES WITH NON-Q P22. The muzzle device will contact slide on original (more square slide)P22. Can cause slide to crack if not used on "Q" designated pistols. (Google for pics)

Stripped screws.

The compensator had one stripped screw/insert. Contacted Walther, sent it back to get it fixed. Got a email from them two weeks ago that they will send one over when they get them from Germany. Received today my old one, not fixed, no note as to why it wasn't fix or anything. Hopefully will get a reply thru the email soon.

Excellent upgrade: missing a few bits

Barrel fit well. It required less than 10 minutes. Kit is missing the factory plug (pn 2661314) for the 3.4" barrel sight which must be removed. It would also be nice to include the barrel nut spanner; Allen screw wrenches were included: thank you.

Long barrel p22

Improved accuracy but still shoots low. Was hoping this would not make me aim at the top of what I want to hit, it didn’t. I guess I will have to work on the front sight for that. It did however tighten up my groups a fair bit. I am still able to use suppressor and threaded adapter on the end of the barrel.
