I just came across a review titled stupid. The person who wrote the review seems to think this is a mounting plate or mounting system for a red dot sight. This guy is confused! The weather P22 laser is in fact a laser sight made for the Walther P22 it locks on the lower accessory rail protects the red beam or Red Dot on your Target and it can be adjusted for elevation and windage it's made specifically for the P22 although it will slide onto most any picatinny-style 20 mm rail its design and shape makes it but right up to the trigger guard on the P22 pistol. This is indeed a laser sight in that it's a device which mounts of the pistol projects a red dot on the Target or point of impact using a low-power laser. A red dot sight is a reflex sight using a small LED to project a red dot on to a piece of glass built into the site that is not what this is. As far as the laser site itself goes it's okay the fitting finish or pretty good I personally have a little trouble with mind keeping its zero the amount is pretty tight but it's not extremely tight so there is a little bit of Wiggle not much especially for the 10 to 20 yard range that most people will be shooting with a 22 three and a half inch barrel pistol. Overall less than a hundred bucks it's a quality site designed specifically for the Walther P22 and it's from Walther arms who have unparalleled customer service if you want a laser sight for your P22 you really just can't go wrong.

Although after-market accessories can work and fit very well in most cases, it has been my experience that few accessories work or fit as well as those provided my the manufacturer itself.

This laser fits the P22 perfectly -- and it would be impossible to have an easier installation.

I've taken it shooting twice now; it was quite accurate right out of the box, but was easy to "zero" using the available adjustments.

It's easy to be skeptical about lower-priced accessories, but in the case of this Walther laser sight for the P22, it looks and performs exactly as advertised.

sight goes on easy- looks great. it's a red laser we ALL know green can be seen easier in the day but that did not stop me from purchasing this. Very usable in daylight. For the distance you will be shooting a pistol this is a good buy.

Great idea and nice design and execution but....
The area on P22 and PK380 where this mount secures is quite thin and flexable, you wound't notice it until you installed this mount.
Once installed with optics mounted you will see that with little force, the whole thing moves/flexes alot.
Upon a closer look I found that it's not the mount moving on the area under the barrel where it clamps, it's the mounting arae flexing because it's so thin and not meant for loading.
Pros: Nice piece/versitile
Cons: Weakness in pistol design makes this mount comprimised

This mount has issues, not the best fit and finish. Needs modification to work well. Not as solid as it needs to be.

Cons: Bulletts jam between the mount and slide often

good sight. little pricy, but it is a good value.
Pros: took 10 seconds to mount, 1 min to sight in. very nice

An Excellent product. It mounts easily to the p22 with either the 5 or 3 inch barrel. It has the same style as the frame of the p22 and i think is made of the same plastic. It is sturdy enough accurately mount a red dot or scope but it is, of course, NOT A LASER SIGHT. I would not recommend this for any pistol besides a p22. The bolt goes through the center of the rail and since most pistols have the slot toward the front or rear, you won't be able to mount it properly. If it is for a p22, I wouldn't consider anything else.
Pros: Integrates perfectly with p22, quality construction
Cons: takes up lowwer mounting rail

This item will make your pistol look cool but is not sturdy enough for accurate shooting.
Pros: It does not cost a lot of $$$$
Cons: It's not a sturdy piece. Mount a scope on this a you are asking for trouble.
