Warne Bases
After not being satisfied with the standard Leupold bases I did some research and found a lot of good reviews of the Warne bases and rings. I put the first set on a Copper M52 and they worked great. I put them on second gun, an X-bolt and they worked great on it also. The fit and finish is excellent. They go on easily and do not required lapping the rings. The rings have a cross piece that fits into the bases that keep the rings from moving so they are locked in by the screws and cross piece. They are secure as they can be.
Not Worth Buying
Could not get rifle to hit paper. Gunsmith recommended Leupold Dove Tails. All is good now.

Problem resolved quickly..
Warne bases were drilled off center. Notified Warne and spoke to Jerry who was very helpful and mailed me some new bases as I mailed him the defective ones. Would highly recommend Warne bases and rings. My next set for my Sig Sauer 556 with be the Maxima quick detachable.
