Most Helpful Positive Review Great rings but be aware of the weight
I like the rings but couldn't get past the weight so I returned them. I didn't take note of the weight prior to ordering them or I would have looked for a lighter version. I am using these on an Elk hunting rifle not a bench rest. The rings are nice looking and the quick release is smooth. PS. I did try to cheap out and bought some Vortex quick release for my .340WBY but they couldn't handle to recoil. Live and learn it seems...

Kyle - Texas

After using many different rings over the past 40 years, I use nothing but Warne rings exclusively now. They are rocksolid and I've installed them on almost everything I own including my 44 mag pistol, 45-70 guide gun, 450 bushmaster, several 308s, 50cal smoke pole, and all of my ARs... I use the picatinny , CZ and Ruger rings without a glitch! On the one lone occurrence in which I had a screw malfunction (probably by my own fault), customer service was incredible replacing in my entire set of rings without question! Kyle - Texas
Pros:
  • rock solid
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • all calibers

A bit heavy but very well made

by banditking, from TX, United States Written on January 30, 2016
I purchased these rings for my 50 BMG and am very impressed. My State Arms 50 has a Weaver mounting rail instead of the more modern Picatinny, and these are one of the few high quality tactical rings that fit both Weaver and Picatinny. Just what I needed.
Pros:
  • very solid
  • Well made, sturdy construction
Cons:
  • Heavy
Best Used for:
  • large, heavy, or target rifles
