Scoped service rifle
Now that scopes up to 4.5 power are legal for service rifle competition, shooters need a way to mount their scopes father forward for sitting and prone shooting. This Weaver rail allows the shooter to attach the rail to the receiver, and have the front scope ring attached approximately 2-1/2" forward allowing proper eye relief with the scope. I purchased 2 rails one for my match rifle, and one for my 22Lr. rim fire practice rifle. Solid and well Made
My sons and I shoot service rifle matches and the new rules allow for a scope up to 4.5x but the only issue is finding a mount that matches your pupil level and this plus some lower scope rings worked perfect, cheek weld is consistent and eye relief is perfect. Worth the Money for sure!

Pretty good!
Pretty much a neccessity of you want to mount a traditional style scope on your AR flat top. It allows the user to have far better options for eye relief than mounting it straight on the upper receiver. If you have QD rings (I have Leupold rings), I would reccomend getting the additional screw set as it would make for a far cleaner install on your AR upper.
Pros: Easy to install, leaves room for BUIS on the receiver, allows you to locate the scope forward for better eye clearance and easier access to the charging handle.
Cons: QD levers are a little strange to install. Why does the additional non QD screws cost extra?
