The Weaver Rings Detachable Top Mount 1in Extended X-High (48448) were purchased to use on my 12 gauge rifled slug barrel with a cantilevered scope mount. These easy to install detachable rings allowed me to get the clearance and additional eye relief I needed to mount a Nikon 3x9 Monarch scope.
Pros: gives more flexibility when mounting a scope.
Cons: None
