Good clarity, Solid clicks, the side focus actually matches up with the stated range. Like the caps over tactical style windage knobs. I purchased based on the weaver name but also was looking for a light weight high power scope and this fit. I bore sighted the Savage .308 went to the range and was on target in four shots. I actually like this better than Mueller which I have several.
Cross Hairs
After having it mounted, the gunsmith and myself agreed that the horizontal cross hair is not squared to the vertical. The vertical seems to be squared to the scope body, but the horizontal is off. Not sure if it will affect the performance.
Pros:
- easy sight picture
- Good focus throughout the magnification range
Cons:
- Cross Hairs not square

- Ground squirrels on a Savage 17HMR
