BGraves's Review of Weaver Multi Slot Savage Axis Scope Base System Rifle Rail Mount
Excellent fit to the rifle. Used it with a Vortex Diamond Back 3-9 x 40 on my daughters Axis II Rifle. The medium height rings supplied by Vortex with the rifle were not high enough to allow the objective bell to clear the lugs on this mount limiting my ability to position the scope for eye relief, but I blame that on the rings, Mount is a typical solid weaver mount.
Pros:
- Inexpensive
- full length
Cons:
- lugs interfered with scope bell
Best Used for:
- Savage Axis II
