Recently bought a Weaver scope and it was a joy to use. Decided to try a fixed power scope, and it was a good decision. Being a rimfire rifle, it was for shooting small game usually in 30-40 yards. Just learned that Weaver scopes are made and assembled in Japan, and the quality is so much better than scopes made in other countries. Japan also makes the glass, which is great. Even Leupold uses glass made in other countries, but assebles the scope in USA.
