Best 22lr scope i have ever owned - Weaver Rimfire 4x28mm RV4 Duplex Reticle Rifle Scope

I put this scope on my 50th anniversary Ruger 10-22. It is a great scope. Clear class, light weight, good field of view. A 4-power scope is the best for the 22lr. I have had two other 3-9X scopes - one with an adjustable objective - they are only good at the shooting bench. I still have a 3-9x32 on my Savage 22lr. This simple Weaver is a far better scope. I could consistently hit a 6-inch and 3-inch steel plate with the scope on my Ruger. The image was clear and it was easy to use the 30-30 reticule to judge hold over. I tried the same thing with my Simmons 22mag 3-9X on my Savage and it was harder to see the plates due to the poor quality glass. I also kept fiddling with the power ring and that just made things worse. I have learned my lesson. A high-quality, 4X scope it the way to go. All of the others weight too much for the gun and have too mush to fiddle with. This scope is the Classic rim fire scope. I may be buying another soon for my Savage which is actually more accurate than my Ruger.
