Excellent modest scope - Weaver V-3 1-3x20mm Dual-X Hunting Rifle Scope

I purchased the Weaver Classic V-3 1-3x20mm Dual-X hunting rifle scope to put on a pistol-caliber lever action carbine that many purists would leave with the stock iron sights. I can't see the rear buckhorn well enough to hunt with confidense so I considered a small scope or a Skinner peep sight, and settled on the Weaver because it offers modest magnification including clear 1x with no limitations induced by my crummy near vision. Doesn't overwhelm the carbine, retains classic hunting appearance if you don't want to look too tactical.
