Good budget scope - Weaver V-3 1-3x20mm Dual-X Hunting Rifle Scope

This scope is a great buy for the money. The next step up (Leupold) is nearly twice the price.

Overall, this scope offers great field of vision, is easy to mount and was quick to zero on a mini 14.

The scope is very bright, except for very low light conditions, in which case you should probably not be shooting anything anyway.

For those of you who have never used a low power scope, it is normal to see the end of the barrel through the scope until you get to around 2X.

I would recommend for a target / varmint rifle as this scope is well built, weatherproof, and offers a long eye relief for quick target acquisition.
