Weaver tip offs
Have had a pair for 40 years love them. I highly recomend them.
Pros: Easy set up, remains zeroed when are removed and re attached.
Most Helpful Negative Review
Weaver scope mounts
Did not tighten down as much as I would expect. I used on a .22 caliber rifle. should work fine for this but would not recommend for higher caliber rifles.
Pros: good price
Cons: doesnt seem secure for high powered rifles
Weaver QD High mounts
Same top quality as the originals. Needed QD rings for scout scope mounted on a Winchester 1895. Fit perfectly and looks great. Holds zero within 1/2 moa after removal and replacement several times.

Tried and true
These scope mounts work well when properly installed. To avoid scratching the scope tube use a piece of paper under the ring top.once the ring snaps over the tube remove paper.Position reticle slightly off from vertical slowly tighten cap screws which will cant the reticle back into correct vertical position.Adjust eye relief. Tighten cap screws to 18 in lbs.The bases should be tightens to 25 inch lbs with medium grade thread locker on base screws only.I’ve installed Buehler,Leupold STD,Rifleman and various other scope mounts and Weavers work just as well. Great value. Not recommended for attaching high dollar optics.Just a matter of appearances
Pros:
- value
- light weight
- Very strong
- Square cross bolt
Cons:
- Reticle positioning tricky
- Easy to over tighten cap screws
- Not for expensive optics
Best Used for:
- Older classic rifles
- economy rifles,scopes

Tried and true
Re-scoped my classic model 70 pre 64 243. Wanted to maintain old school look and these classic Weaver rings were my choice. They’ve been my rings of choice for years and did just fine on my Win 300 mag also.

Not well manufactured
Attached these 1" low rings to weaver bases on a lever action. Using a FAT wrench set to 25 inch pounds I tightened down the 4 top screws, which were already set loosely in place. 3 went fine, one stripped out the socket.
Waste of money, sadly. Next time I'll spend more on rings. I should know better by this point.

WEAVER PRODUCTS ARE ALWAYS TOP NOTCH
Very durable scope ring, since it has four screw for each mount, I strongly suggest that you have a gunsmith mount this item since it is very easy to over tighten one screw and risk the breaking the lens in your scope. I had mine mounted by Norco armory and this gunsmith is excellent.

small...but solid!
these little rings are a great match with the Weaver Scout Scope. I have them both on a Weigand rail on my Mini-30, and are holding zero after multiple magazines. use a bit of loctite and you are good to go!
Pros: vice like grip! half as many screws.
Cons: can scratch your scope if you aren't careful.

Good Rings
What can I say, Weaver makes good products. A set of these on my Marlin 336 in the low profile is all I needed.
Scopes not going anywhere.
The folks at Optics Planet had them in stock and at a great price.
Pros: Solid and easy to install
