Perfect fit solid steel strength
Steel strong and the best Weaver base I feel there is. I replaced the original aluminum ones because they did not seem to weather my magnum storm. These are the cats meow!

Steel strength needed
Replaced alumminum bases with these steel bases on my Model 70 300 wsm they fit perfectly and are obviously strong made of solid steel. I'll pay the extra weight for a solid base. If the base is not solid and sturdy why go further. Was a no brainer for me.
