Nice Mount for Ar-15
Very nice mount looks similar to Burris. It has a good feel and light weight. I was extremely pleased when it arrived, it was easy to install and a breeze to switch to another pica tinny rail. I would recommend this product.

good for the price
Works well on 22LR or 223/556 rifles, anything beyond that will most likely be problematic. Stays in place if tightened properly but easy to remove if you want something to plink with and not care about holding perfect zero. That being said, after removing and reinstalling, I was able to hit within 2 inches at 50 yards. Does what it’s made for and the quality is solid.
Pros:
- Inexpensive and effective
Cons:
- none can see
Best Used for:
- Plinking ,small gamers

Weaver SPR 1 piece mount
Excellent product for the money. It had not moved after four hundred rounds of range use. However, I took a star because it does have a little extra weight over others on the market. I think this mount would be suitable for any application. It’s built right, large base that has two attachment screws and the caps on the rings also have two screws per side. Very solid, but should definitely follow manufacturers recommendations screw torque.

Top Quality
I own all sorts of mounts to include nikon, leupold and larue and this mount is just as solid and the fit and finish is great at just a 1/4 the price of a larue. The military also uses this type of mounting system on the acogs and have always held strong.
Pros:
- value
- Fit and finish
- Solid and reliable
- quick toolless release
- Uses torx instead of hex which is superior
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- AR playforms
Would recommend: Yes

Pros:
- Fit, finish, and function spot on
Cons:

Weaver SPR
This is my second Weaver SPR mount purchase from Optics Planet. I am pleased with the overall quality of the mount. The fit and finish is great. As usual, Optics Planet had the items I needed in stock with low prices and fast shipping; their customer service is always excellent. I also had a great customer service experience with Weaver as I contacted them asking about proper torque specs on the SPR screws. 100% satisfied!
Pros:
- Price
- Quality
- Fit
- Finish
- Customer service
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:

Weaver Thumbnut SPR 1in Mount ~ Perfection
I bought several scopes fro Optics Planet, and on several of my rifles I needed a mount for them, as well as a little rise. Looked at many dealerss, brands, and configurations, but these really were the best I found. Easy to attach, perfect rise, and aesthically very nice as well.

good ar mount
simple to install, this raises the scope so you get pretty easy sight, it might possibly be better another .25-.5" higher, as I feel like I need to drop my head just a little, but for the price and my use, recreational plinking I would choose this again.

Works Ok but Bulky
I have this mounted on my AR with a Nikon 3-9x. I moved from one AR to another and it held zero so my complaints aren't there. The mount is huge in comparison with some of the others out there and the huge mounting knobs don't help. It mounts securely and is reliable but I wouldn't buy it again.

Excellent product, but...
Love the product. Light weight but solid construction. Just as good or better than many more expensive units. Knobs allow the user to secure it or remove it without the need of tools...but I am a bit disappointed with the service from OP.
Pros:
- Solid light weight mount
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- CQB or hunting
Would recommend: Yes
