okay... but you’ll need more and better tools!
It’s a good way to get some basic AR tools. However... you can’t torque a buffer tube nut, or a barrel on the stand. The plastic is NOT designed to withstand the torque spec requirements. Was a good deal
It makes it easier to work with difftent types of guns to fix and replace parts and to clean. A nice design. The basic design is nice for the ar platform to use for multiple purposes and can add more things to package and is very useful for the ar platforms for cleaning and building or even to replace out worn out parts.

Best deal for the sale price
The "Wheeler Fine Gunsmith Equipment AR Armorers Professional Kit" comes with every tool required to complete an AR-15 build from scratch. Unlike another reviewer stated. The pro kit(which is what the bad review was under) does come with an upper receiver vice block to install a delta ring/barrel nut. I don't consider a bench vice a "tool" that need be considered required to come with an armorer kit.. name one that does. At the sale price of $189 this is a heck of a steal and at full price I might consider the other big name brand armorer kit, as it seems like a little nicer quality at $279

Folks - this kit is junk, plain and simple. Don't even think about trusting one of the pictures in the manual showing torque being applied via the AR Combo Tool while the received is planted on the magwell vise. Mine snapped so quickly, it was all I could do to catch my receiver before I flung it through the window along with the overengineered combo tool. The plastic cleaning pick set is a $0.99 item. The gun mat is nice, everything else is incredibly basic. The "pivot pin installation tool" can be replaced with any number of hardware store items costing, again, less than $1.00. The strap and torque wrenches are a complete joke - the cheapest quality possible. Coming into this set after decades of purchasing automotive parts, I would say that even having paid only $180 of the $300+ original price, I was soundly ripped off. Now, to find a usable, quality kit.

If you own an AR-[15 you need this!
I would not have guessed how much this Wheeler Gunsmith kit helps me work on my AR-15. Just to see what all I could do, I have used it to completely take my AR down to bare bones, removed the barrel, taken every nut and bolt and spring out and put everything back together. It is well designed and made fairly well and I am sure it will last a long time. Now that I own this I sit and wonder how I got along without it? Stop paying for anyone else to do your gunsmithing, get this and do it all on your own. Get one.

excellent kit
I needed tools to build an AR and I was going to buy a few here and there individually because they were cheaper. I am happy i bought this kit it has everything you need for a build all together. If it is not in this kit then you do not need it. I would recommend buying it you won’t need anything more than this.

Great travel kit
Lot of tools and bags. Thing you may never need, but good to have. The bag is great quality. Every tool is heavy and sturdy. The stand is great for adding mounts or cleaning. Cannot save any more good things about it.

Gun smithing Kit
I put it right to work, the tools worked fine. First project was was replacing AR-15 trigger with new single stage trigger. Equipment made the job a easy task. I would recommend the kit to those looking for the correct tools

Wheeler ar15 tool kit
The kit works great the only thing missing was a good set of punches other than that it a good kit used it a couple of times already no issues with the tools that came with it. We cleaned and built an ar15 with the use of the kit

Great product from beginner to pro
Kit has all the basics to get you started. Tweak it a few personal items and your all set.
The bag it comes in is a little flimsy but serves it purpose.
Great for the weekend at the range, any adjustments needed to be made are easily done.
