Most Helpful Positive Review Perfect for a novice like me
Before attempting my first AR lower build, I did what most folks do - I watch several YouTube videos. One universal warning in all of them had to do with the likelihood of the pivot pin detent being launched into orbit during installation. Heeding these warnings, I invested in this installation tool set. Worked like a charm. I managed to install the spring, detent, and pivot pin on the first try without any hassles. Would definitely recommend this to AR builders - especially noobs like me.

No brainer buy

I’m one step above a novice builder and have clumsy hands. I will try any speciality tool that makes it easier, and this keeps springs and detects from flying. If you’re new at this like me this will save you the cost of a spare parts kit after about two builds, for under $10. I get pins installed in a snap on the first or second attempt.

works like it's supposed to

The one negative review on this product im thinking is user error. When you take it off the ring it comes on whalla magically the detent and spring hole appears! It also fits just fine and works like a charm. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

Total 'waste'

The diameter of pin 'tool' is much TOO large to fit thru the pivot pin hole.
The other so-called tool has NO hole with which to insert spring and detent pin.
COMPLETE waste of time and money = TOTAL 'waste' .. if you get my drift !
